The Catacombs of Saint Callixtus
On your left you see the statue of Saint Cecilia, Saint Patron of Music. Of a noble Roman family, she was martyred in the 3rd c. and entombed in the Catacombs of Saint Callixtus. Your Driver will pick you up at your location and drive you to the Catacombs of Rome (Daily Saint Callixtus, except Wednesday when we do Saint Sebastian Catacombs). These sites are located on the famous Appian Way. They started being Christian catacombs in the middle of the second century AD and are an important part of the history of Rome. Then off the beaten track we shall visit the Cathedral of Saint Paul outside the walls, drive by the Pyramid of Rome, visit the Garden of the Oranges with a spectacular view of Saint Peters, and finally the Gainiculum, highest hill of Rome wiht its famous fountain of the Acqua Paola and breath taking view of all of Rome. Drive back to your location.
